Tempur, the world's leading and most recognised mattress company is looking for a permanent Assistant Manager to join a friendly and supportive team. The Assistant Manager will be customer facing and selling Tempur products to our customers. The candidate will be required to provide leadership, organisation and motivation to a team of Sales Associates. You will help lead the team to deliver sales and profit targets by providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities: • Consistently ensure your team delivers a great customer experience through quality conversations • Ensure your store is always Super Fit To Trade and promote the Tempur Brand • Lead, motivate and inspire the team to deliver and exceed targets • Set the team clear expectations through effective communication • Regularly observe colleague behaviors and provide feedback, coaching and recognition • Train your team to ensure they have the necessary skills to carry out their job • Manage store when the Store Manager is away from the business providing effective two way communication • Ensure the operational compliance of the store through timely & accurate implementation of all company Health & Safety, Administrational & Security directives. • Ensure the general appearance of the store and external areas are kept in good order. • Ensure all store operations are compliant with the health and safety policies.
